Favorite drawing ever? Dearest Marlo drew Sara, Emily and I! :)
A little gift for my dear friend Sara Pocock! She’s riding a cintiq pen! Why? Because whenever she’s creating art, she totally ROCKS that shit!!
Sara is one of the most talented people I know, and if it weren’t for her I wouldn’t experience nearly an iota of the beauty and fun that I’ve gotten to discover within Los Angeles. Whenever I’m bored or some friends ask me what to do this weekend, I always know to ask Sara. She’s got her fingers on the pulse of this scene!!
This album cover for our new band Sweaty Rain features Matt Brailey and I riding a moose into a perfect storm of ice cream and potato chips. Masterfully drawn in a crowded bar last evening by artist-extraordinaire Sara Pocock.

I present to you this animated loop of Tig Notaro pushing a stool. Tig is a hilarious comedian who brings much joy to the world. I love her work and you should, too.
I was reminded how much I love her last Thursday at a live screening of This American Life, during which she delivered her superlative Taylor Dayne monologue—this time with a twist ending! Encore screenings are happening tonight, May 15th, and you should really go check it out. Seriously. It’s fantastic.
I can’t believe how lucky I am to have a friend as talented as Sara. She is an animating machine!! I know very few people as ambitious as her, so let’s all take a lesson and get inspired by her!
